I now manufacture SIDE STAND BRACKET KITSETS for the LAVERDA 1000/1200ccTRIPLES and have been selling to the LAVERDAPEDIA Community. This locates the stand just below the footpegs - using a cheap Kawasaki side stand. It is a tremendous benefit in helping you get on and off your Laverda. Downside is the centre stand becomes difficult to use, but since you only use it for lubing the chain or changing tires, most people find by shortening the lever arm they can live with the compromise. This kit will not work on the RGS or late 120 Jota's and may not be a direct fit for the early 3C. The kitsets sells for $35.00 CDN plus shipping. They are made from 1/4" Stainless steel plate, precision waterjet cut & come taped for the sidestand mounting holes (M10x1.25) The kit includes all the stainless mounting hardware - a footpeg mounting bolt (M12) and the lower engine mounting bolt (M10) with a machined billet aluminum spacer, washers and nut. The design for the bracket was provided by Laverdapedia members and I take no credit for the idea, I am just able to manufacture them at a reasonable cost. Four kits to choose from A - RIGHT-HAND GEAR CHANGE, FOOTPEGS B - RIGHT-HAND GEAR CHANGE, REAR-SETS C - LEFT-HAND GEAR CHANGE, FOOTPEGS D - LEFT-HAND GEAR CHANGE, REAR-SETS To order - email me for details. We accept PAYPAL. You will need to source a Kawasaki ZZR600 or ZX12 sidestand from a wreckers - it must have a 9 1/2" arm (240mm) long arm (measured from pivot to heel). Alternatively a easy measure is from the mid-pin to toe of 110mm. See sketch below for details. There is a huge variety of Kawi sidestands that would work with this bracket (see list below). We Even have a special notched version for the footpeg mounting to match the original frame boss. The easiest dimension to confirm is the mid-pin to toe 110mm ( 4 1/4") - this is the dimension that varies between models. The upper bracket and lenght of spring remains consistant between all the different stands. (NOTE - the above stand is actually longer than the reccomended lenght - it is 252mm long, 122mm between pin an toe - an example of not being vigilent when purchasing - shortening a stand is easier than adding lenght) Here is a list of known suitable years & models of stands:
